Hello everyone!

Its been a while since the last time I posted. Well, in this light of festive season, wish everyone out there Happy Chinese New Year! Hope that this will be the best yet for everyone life! Sometimes I wonder, really if the true meaning of the season still exist. Whatever it is, its still just a season and the government made two days holiday just for it.

Been to quite a few places, to some places, it is really a awkward experience. As some of them I don't really know them but still, I shall not be anti-social.

School have been quite normal, except for some improvement in my result. For the few common tests, I had done quite well, although not that fantastic but still improvement is the main point. My only worries for my studies are subjects like, D&T and Art. I actually left my art worksheet in school, with my material and drawing paper. I need to do it by Wednesday! Never mind, I shall find a way out. Another worry will be for choir my only CCA. Its February now and yet we are not really up to standard, we only have less than two more months left. Now what I can do is to really put all I can to choir nothing more and have to find ways to motivate people to want to do well for SYF.

It's always been fun being tuitioned by Michelle, the previous English session we did something special. To look at people's blog post and understand their general character. From some angle, we might know what the author is implying but some of the angle we can never understand if we're not into depth of it before. Well, just hope that it will make me understand writing more and more also in depth.

What's my hobby now? play computer games? play basketball? Not anymore, its been a long time since i played basketball and PC games. Just find it very boring, I've tried playing Maple for a while to kill time but less than 10 minutes just felt very bored. Now I find that looking out for information for new software and news about cracking more fun. Sad to say, it ain't always that smooth sailing and it might get quite boring if nothing comes into the way. So what can I do? Play the Guitar! ahahas Now I find more interest in it, finally in class people wanted to form a band. We'll be going jamming quite soon, after we practice This Love by Maroon 5. Its quite a simple song for Guitar, can just find the tabs and chords at e-chords.com and the sound track at youtube. Getting more and more excited as the test is nearing. I have confident that I will passed it, as long as there is practice, there is really never a need to feel nervous to fail.

Well, just enjoy this two days holiday while you still can! Got to stop here, going to update the next time after a week for all the highlights of it. Remember to leave a tag, Happy Chinese New Year to all ! once again Bye!

My grandfather is one of the most important people in my upbringing. He is always pessimistic about what I have done, be it good or no good. It really impacted me a lot in this area, as it made known to me that what we got to do when we realized our mistake. It is not to remember and get overwhelmed by the mistake; instead we should learn from it and do the right things to make things work.

As I grew older in age, I remembered that we would actually meet up every week at my Grandfather’s house for fellowship and to grow closer. We would have something like a reunion dinner, whereby all my cousins, uncles, aunties and other relatives would get together at a huge dining table for food. It was always very meaningful; as it was the only time in a week I have the chance to dine with my family and of cause my relatives.

Unfortunately for my grandfather, his spouse, who is my grandmother, got a terminal disease. She was infected with lung cancer. It was amazing that she was still able to survive five years after the infection of the disease. After my grandmother passed away, we seldom met up during the week end. Our relationship also drifted apart.

I remembered that my grandfather was the most upset and sad person even at the funeral of my grandmother. Since he carried the great attitude of pessimistic, he persevered through it and began his life as a new chapter to everything. To make things better, we would actually meet up weekly to travel to Malaysia for dinner and to shop for stuffs.

Besides learning the importance of being resilient, I also learned something from my grandfather. It is to treasure or cherish whatever we have in life, whether is it useful or useless; we might need it in our life. We cannot judge on things based on short term planning but on a long term basis.

Although my grandfather is very old in age right now, I still look up to him as someone really inspiring and someone I respect the most. Even in his age, he could be rather independent. He could travel alone and know all the bus services in Singapore very well and he is a great driver, which knows the road very well.

This is the Personal Recount Writing for English Assignments. Hardly have time to post, so I think if I had put this document to soft copy format might as well post on blog, so that as least got something afresh. hahas.... Anyway, this is the blogger URL for those we are interested to learn Hill songs tab for guitar "www.guitarpraise.blogspot.com" I love the Time Has Come..... Can search on youtube also, there is quite funny video about it.

Jia you everyone! Be it studies or whatever you are doing, don't give up and be resilient. There is always something more to what you think you are always doing

This is quite a non-fiction and fiction recount, some points maybe over exaggerated. Some of the things I learned elsewhere.

gtg write down the soft copy on foolscap, so cya and remember to tags!
