Now it’s all about FOCUS. The power of focus is not easy to acquire, as it require discipline and self-motivation. It brings forth succession and achievement of targets to a group or a team. Like what the conductor had said what we need in choir now is focus. People will find it boring, but that’s where self-motivation comes in handy. After the co-quote “de-brief” today, I really felt the power of this word “Focus”. We tried it and it somehow worked for our section, only for a few who still cannot make it. Let’s just keep the goal in mind and strive for it. I’m sure we’ll be able to do well in singing.
Woooooosh…… The one week of break past really fast and it had been quite a meaningful one, compared to my previous holidays. I went on to understand more about math and finally went to a studio to jam. Time really flies. You could be just entering the studio now and zmmmmm….. You realized that you left the last minute. It’s really fun playing around with the electric guitar, with a real good amplifier. It was able to give the effect of a helicopter and even with muting it gives an awesome sound.
Finally, I went to KBOX. I really can’t remember the last time I’ve been singing in a KBOX. In the past, I would always print out lyrics of rap songs and memorized it. After that, I would play the music and set the volume to half full. Try to learn the style of the song and zmmmmm…… I would realize I had been in the room for almost half a day. It was really surprising that during those days, this was how I killed time. Now I realize that I spent half a day in school and usually the other half in CCA, the left over time I would spend doing work over the day or spent time practicing guitar. And at last make room for God, like what Pst Phil said last Sunday.
In conclusion, this is what I think. As we grow and know more things, we would be committed to certain things in life and it will cost time. It either makes go forward or pull us back, so we have to choose and make wise decision, to focus on what we really want to do, to have our destiny and to fulfill our purpose.
This really sounds like my journal entry in my journal book. Never mind, practice makes perfect, but no one is perfect, so we can only work or aim for it =)
